Game Review : Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 : Game Review

Reason behind the rating

TF2 is an amazingly fun cartoonish fps game. Definitely a top contender in my favorite FPS games off all time. It combines a cartoonish look with fast paced tactical battles. There are a few different game play modes.. i think cause all i know is capture the flag i believe there is a take the checkpoint or something along those lines. Using 9 different classes your team needs to learn to cooperate with these classes to secure a victory. With these very great graphics and intense strategic gameplay you cant go wrong.

Story Line

There is none.

Classes

Scout : Super fast your job is to get in and get out. Equipped with a Scattergun which is deadly at point blank. You can double jump and are wayyyy faster then any other class, get the flag and GTFO!

Soldier : A very slow class equipped with a power full RPG you can blow the enemies away. With the all mighty rocket jump lunge yourself to higher heights for quicker movements into enemy bases.

Pyro : Need a light? This class will melt the competitions away with its flamethrowers. Equipped with this the player will be able to do amazing damage and leave the opponent on fire! A sureFIRE way to win the match!

Demoman : With a grenade launcher and a Sticky launcher how can you go wrong? Set a trap for your naive enemies and set the sticky grenades off! Or rush in with your grenade launcher and blow the enemies away!

Heavy : PEW PEW GATLING GUN! This heavy HP and ATK based character will destroy any enemy up against it. His powerful Gatling gun will mow down then enemies.

Engineer : Set up your sentry's, health dispensers, and tele pads and the rest, is history. With being able to build your sentry in a vital spot, you have no need to enter the actual battlefield. Camp with your life and rebuild that sentry.

Medic : MEDDDIIICCCCC!!!! Storm the castle with your teammates and keep them healed. With your UBERheal your are unstoppable. Pair up with a heavy and never be taken down. You indeed are the ultimate is support.

Sniper : BOOM HEADSHOTT!!! Snipe the enemies before they even notice you. With your laser sited rifle you can pick the enemies from an increased distance. You my friend are the keen eyed sniper!

Spy : Confuse your enemies with your own disguises as them! Then when their back is turned use your butterfly knife to one shot the enemy from the back. You damn ninja!!

Overview

TF2 is a great fast paced tactical game. Not only that but the graphics are quite worthy of a mention. You cant go wrong with TF2 for a fun fps! maybe a little more laid back then others but very good. Recommended to all FPS players around the universe!

Kingdom Hearts : Game Review

1 and 2 of the series.

Reasoning for Rating

A scattered dream thats like a far off memory... A far off memory thats like a scattered dream.... (opening words to KH:2) Not only is kingdom hearts a great story but in combines great forms of gameplay. It is an RPG. LIKE (not the same) but similar gameplay as FF, kingdom hearts is a great game for all ages. It takes bits and pieces from Disney Movies and Final Fantasy games. (Cameo's of characters such as Cloud, and Sephiroth) The gameplay is abosolutely amazing whether you play on normal or proud mode. The graphics are great for its time and the story line is amazing!!! All of these things combined i would give it my score of a 9.8/10 because to me ALMOST no game can make 10/10.

Story Line : Kingdom Hearts 1

Kingdom Hearts take place in the first one as a kid named Sora being chosen by the Keyblade. The keyblade is known as the sword to slay the heartless who are "without hearts" creatures of darkness. Mickey is the king of his castle and has left to put the heartless away. He also has a keyblade (way more epic then sora's imo) Now sora has to go aroudn to different worlds and seal of the keyhole which is the way heartless get into worlds. Once completeing all the worlds the final one opens up. Now i won't spoil the ending so you'll have to play to find out :].

Story Line : Kingdom Hearts 2

I consider 1 better then 2 for a few reasons but still a fun game but thats next anyways. In kingdom hearts 2 you start off as Roxas. He is sora's nobody as the story insues. After taht you ahve found Sora has been in a capsule "frozen" in time. Once released you embark on an adventure with donald and goody again. But wait... that would be BORING... So they added Orginization 13(i suck at roman numerials). ill call them O13. Anyways 013's goal is to open Kingdom Hearts so their nobodys will... shall i say become somebody xD. So Sora goes on fighting Heartless AND Nobodys now. Again the ending is to not be spoiled play the game.

Characters!

Sora : The main character who was designed pretty nicely. You play as him throughout most of the games. He is the Keyblades chosen one and is destined to wield it. I myself and not a fan of "Main characters" but in this case i am, Sora is an amazing character and so much fun to play.

Riku : He is Sora's childhood rival but turns out to be a good friend. Riku is based off of Rikku from FF in my opinion but people argue (she makes a cameo in #2) He is pretty cool but annoys the fuck outa me cause he is "so cool"

Kairi : The girl sora has a crush on. She is seen in the first game in the beginning and throughout it as soras goal is to find his friends (Riku and Kairi). He is out to save her. She fights a little in the second i guess...

Goofy and Donald : Goofy and Donald are Sora's new friends on his adventure to find his old friends. They play a huge role as they are with u pretty much the whole game. I love goody hes awesome donald.. well he heals u alot XD.

Mickey : He is the King of Donald and Goody's world and has a keyblade, he has set out to seal the darkness away and well the ending is his main part.. PLEASE PLAY.

Overview!!!

Kingdom hearts is an amazing game overall Graphics, Gameplay, and Story Line. Its got that triple threat factor. RPG players pick this game up if u alrdy havnt since it is widely known. 9.8/10.!

Lets Plays have grown popular in my opinion and they well i compare them to walkthroughs in a sort of way. By the way this is going ot be a short post as my long post will be up later tonight. Daily Gaming!

This will be a shortish post on what i did today which consists of 3 games ONLY 3 yea i know but like 12 hours of it. I can say that i did decent on the one and shitty on the other and one of the others is single player.. ENJOY!!!

Counter-Strike : Source

Blahhh best game everrrrrrrrrrr that i did semi good in. Certain games i was lackign but for the most part my kdr(kill death ratio) was above 2.30. I played mostly 6 hours of CS:S today with my friend jimmy who has his own blog on anime so check that out (click his name!!) anyways, we are in a Clan called [Pub*] we dont have a server this is why we are pubstars dont stalk us.. my steam name is Chosenone5794 (is an old friends acc) so add me and it should come up [Pub*]Zeran. I play atleast 2 hours daily and talk to jimmy on skype. Thats all i did in CS:S today.

GunZ : The Duel

Blah i got raped playing gunz the duel today as i usually do. I personally suck at the game but play because it is extremely fun. Jimmy is epic pro ownage at it so yea i just stick with him and KS him alot. I'm a QueSTAR i like to do that and did it for maybe an hour today then followed with 3 hours of Atk n Def. Thats it in GunZ not really amusing.

Pokemon Touhou?

HOLY SHIT LETSPLAY?!?! omg my first ever lets play has officially begun! i thought id start with this i guess hacked version of pokemon so the real pokemon games can be great!!! the first vid is decent but i think shitty. GunZ : The Duel!

Reason will be explained below.

Storyline...ish

There is no storyline in my opinion. The game is just a fun game to fool around on or own it up with friends. The concept is a TPS the best ive seen considering i hate GoW (gears of war). GunZ is very impressive with its content and gameplay which i will discuss later. There is a quest line which i will discuss later aswell. This game lacks an actaul storyline in my opinion which isnt a bad thing for just gamers but some like to follow it.

Gameplay!

GunZ has a very solid gameplay. The game is user friendly and by that i mean you can be, 1. A bad gamer 2. casual gamer 3. pro gamer 4. no life gamer <--- (my fav). There is no fee to play but you can buy "Premium Items" but ill get into that later. You can use a combonations of items to make your character stronger and better depending on the combonation. Many users will use K-Style (korean style) and it is fast paced and requires skill others will "spray" or d-style, Just to list a few of them. K-Style is considered "PRO" and spraying is "NOOB" so prepared to get "Egoed or Flamed for spraying" i personally say go for it what ever ur prefrence is for games do it like spraying. Overall the gameplay is amazing but not noob friendly.

Problems... (long list)

Ego : HOLY FUCKING SHIT go to my post below for the definition and stuff but this game is made of Ego. you cannot join a room without someone with an ego.. its like everyone on this game loves to say "OWNED NOOB" jsut check the post below for this.

Prems : Alright this is a touchy subject because i personally have no problem with prems but some people do. Premiums can be bought with actual money and give better bonuses such as HP and AP but also Prem weps can do way more damage and destroy any enemys easily

Hackers : GunZ is also a very hacked game, 1 out of 10 people probably hack thats my guess. The most common onesa re God Mode, Lawnmower, Wall Hack, Insane Massive. these give an unfair advantage and piss alot of people off.

Questing

Quest are like easier exp at lower levels and get more challenging as you level up as the fights will get harder and require more skill to complete. These are very fun to do with friends and involve no PvP and can get you some items. You can sell items for Bounty which is ingame money. Once you collect certain items you can do boss mode which gets you WAYYYY more exp and better items that will expire though. Questing is very fun and can get you very nice items and experience.

Clan War!

I won't say much about this one becasue it requires maybe two sentences. It gets you more experience and is fun. You will get owned if you are not pro :]

"Owned noob, you suck, qq moar" I can't explain what makes people do this but understanding how to deal with it will help so i'm deciding to do today's post on "Ego".

Ego - The main reason that I am better than you. [Urban Dictionary Reference]

The way i would define Ego would be making your skill known either 1. Above "noobs" 2. Someone you dislike/hate 3. Just being a DICK! The main games i find Ego in correct me if i'm wrong ( i'm not ) would be... GunZ : The Duel and Counter-Strike : Source. People who ego like to flaunt there skill about lesser skilled people or just others. Some of the most common words can be seen above in the beginning. Q_Q is associated with Ego for when someone may say "Owned noob you suck" and you say "its 5 v 2" they would reply "Q_Q" all QQ stands for is crying and its a way jackasses like to pick on lesser skilled others.

I am not the best GunZ player ask some of my friends :P, but i can handle Ego. The best way to handle it is the "make a joke way" so when the person says "You fucking suck so bad dude gtfo" DO NOT reply "STFU" thats one of the worst ways you can deal with them they will keep coming back with more instead make a joke (excuse my shitty jokes) "but i don't wanna leave.. i just got here..." and etc... This is one way or do my personal favorite the "get ur friend who fucking owns at the game to own them" :D. There are some others but i stick to these to.

All in all Ego is for the dumb asses who need a life :] it shouldn't disappoint you and make you quit the game it should make you want to strive to be better so you can own the Egoer. Oh and don't be come and Egoer if you kill one, then your just contradicting yourself.

Game Review : Pokèmon Series

Game Reviews : Pokèmon series!

So ill be doing many game reviews and since i'm going to start playing the Pokemon series i thought id give a full review of the series. Yes i have beaten all of the games from Red-Platinum. I will be streaming and making a few walkthroughs when i can get my camera so lets just start with a review.

Rating Scale 1-10 : Zeran's Rating 10

You can't go wrong with this series.

Though in the earlier games the graphics are lacking, the year of the game release is clearly the reason for that. The Pokemon games are all great RPG's for the Gameboy series. Starting from Red which takes place in the Kanto region the game is perfect [besides graphics] the gameplay is solid and besides a few glitches such as Missingno, the whole game is solid. The concept of Pokemon is to get 8 Gym Badges then go and defeat The Elite Four thus becoming the pokemon league champion. Though if you have some gaming experience this is relatively "easy".

Red and Blue

You may have some trouble but if you start with Red all there is to worry about is glitches such as "Slash always getting a critical hit". Red has been remade into FireRed with enhanced graphics and same story line. The first game is a MUST no matter what you say it sets you up for the rest and is amazing.

Gold, Silver, Crystal

This series was another continuation with still somewhat bad graphics not much changed except.. the story. This story takes place in the Johto region, but you may also return to the Kanto after defeating the Johto Elite Four. I struggled with this game because i have played it recently only to get annoyed of not running.. Besides that the game is excellent and has a remake coming out in September i believe for Japan. The remake is named HeartGold and SoulSilver. The games are super anticipated and will most likely be excellent. I recommend this game only because of the cool returning to Kanto feature.

Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald

Do not get me started on this series o wait i am :]. BY FAR my favorite of the pokemon series, though is not the most popular. Ruby was my favorite game before i heard of the Emerald version. Again same gameplay just a new story and new Pocket Monsters (Pokèmon). My favorite Pokèmon is in this series and it is an amazing game. Though i think the Elite Four is kinda weird on this game still very solid and a graphics update that revolutionises the game. I recommend Emerald the most as it remains my favorite game.

Diamond, Pearl, Platinum

The newest release of the pokemon series Diamond, Pearl, Platinum. These games are very good just like the rest, i would consider these my least favorite because i played diamond over and over till i just cant stand it unlike the other. Not to say that this is a bad game it is a very excellent game and pokemon creators really came strong with the graphics in this one. The story is in my top favorites though. What i don't like about this and I'm betting a lot of people disagree, is the Pokèmon. I just do not find them as great as the older series ones. In my opinion the hardest Elite Four but the Gym Leaders are not very challenging.

Overview

The Pokèmon games are easily my Second favorite game. You'll have to wait to hear my favorite series of games, but anyways. For an RPG i would say Pokèmon easily wins. So as i will say again 10/10 5 starts 2 thumbs and the works. Pick yourself up any of the pokemon games. I did skip collaseum and others but those will be covered in other reviews.

I've been looking at some certain games such as Pokèmon that come from animes or vice versa. Animes play a huge role in the game industry from the multi-million dollar series of pokemon to the widly played DragonBall games. I myself am in love with the pokemon series.
